I often have calls and e-mails telling me that stupid people have broken glass in a play park so I pass it on to street scene
to get them to do a clean up. You have not said where this play park is?

You must report this promptly. Telephone 388777. The needles should be picked up by our specialist team in 24 hours and the glass too. If the equipment is unsafe, tell the Council more about it or send me the details and it will be inspected.

I would. Is this park anywhere near Branksome because I know of a really bad park there?

As a councillor I get lots of calls about the state of the parks in my area and I always get the council to come out and clean it up. If you see any needles you must stay well away from them and tell your council straight away, needles need to be removed by expert cleaners wearing special protective clothing. The Number is 388777.
