We can look at it. I do know there was a big tea tance this summer but I think that may have been aimed at adults. Do you know about Darrian Wrights dance studio?

It is going to be very difficult ot do very much in the future to put on artistic events. We are facing budget cuts and one of the first things to go will be arts and culture, which in my view will be absolutely catastrophic for the town. I love dance too, particularly contemporary dance. I only hope the local dance schools and interested young people and parents will be able to do something voluntarily. The town centre would be a great place for an outdoor festival, the market place and the area round Pease’s statue for instance (in the summer!)

I love to dance been doing it for years. I have just bought a new DVD called Street Dance a UK film funded by the National Lottery. I seen it on a plane in the summer and it is brilliant! I think that the competitions for dance like ‘got to dance’ and ‘strictly come dancing’ are very popular and the people who organise those are not the ‘council’. How about more of those events?
