Improve bus services, get more of the council activities to be closer to them in the summer and then look at what extras each village needs, then talk to the parish council to get things happening.
The Borough of Darlington does include several villages and I’m not very knowledgeable about them. My ward is right in the middle of town. You really need to speak to Doris Jones or Brian Jones, both are councillors who represent villages. Sorry not to be more helpful
I would talk to young people and the ward councillors to find out what they would want me to do – normally the ward councillors are active in representing and working for their residents.

I think the villages around Middleton are very beautiful. I used to live in Hurworth. If there is a problem the parish councillors tend to look at it.
