    No, I live just over the road from the boundary with my ward, so I can be in it – literally – in a minute. I do think it’s better to live in or at least near the ward you represent

    I tried to get elected in North Road in 1995 but was unlucky. Got a safer seat for Eastbourne in 1996 and have been
    there ever since.

    No, as I got elected in a By-election there was no member in the ward who wanted to stand and so it was opened up to other memebers and I won the selection. I then won the by-election.

    No but i live about 200 meters away and am in the ward pretty much every day.
