The people who run the buses are a private company. The council already spend money to ensure that they
run a service to Bishopton, not adequate I agree.
I’m afraif this is due to Arriva making bus timetable decisions. I used to live in Merrybent and suffered with the same problem.You maybe need to organise a car share scheme with your friends to have a more flexible transport system.
This is appalling. I will investigate, but I think it is what has been agreed with the council and the bus company. I think if busses were cheaper and more reliable we would all use them more, especially if petrol cost go up and it becomes too expensive to drive everywhere.

Ask Arriva, the bus company. The Council supports some routes but may not be able to in future.
