I’d like education to be allowed to be more life skills based – and teach children how to garden, live sustainably. I think the amount of time at school is plenty.

There are more people with bigger brains than me who decide
on the amount of education for children, do you think you have too much
    or even too little?

Yes but we can always do better. Darlington has a pretty good history when it comes to education and we have some of the best results in the region. I don’t agree with sats but they have given us a good idea on how we are doing.

I think everychild is different. The current education system does not allow every child to reach their full potential. I would like to see smaller classes and I think the new diplomas will allow some children to take a different type of education that will suit them. But with so many different children we need more variety.

The amount? Do you mean the number of years? I think that is about right. If you mean the amount of work you have to do, I actually don’t think it’s too much , though I know GCSEs and A levels are very stressful
