The best thing about being a councillor is that it is all incredibly interesting – or i think so anyway. The worst thing is being forced to do things you don’t want to do like cutting back on the marvellous things we do here in Darlington, i feel really angry about that at the moment.
The best thing about being a councillor is being able to put a smile on somebodies face when they have been at their wits end worrying about something. To solve their problems gives me a great feeling. The worst thing is when you disagree with a cut that has been approved by Cabinet and they do it anyway.
