If I had a lot of money I would never be able to keep it. I would give my money to friends and family, I would give money to many charities. If I had a large amount of money to spend on the youth of Darlington I would need to find out what was the most important thing that young people wanted. Once we had a few ideas I would ask the toung people to vote and then pay for the idea that got the most votes. I love giving.
If you are talking about the money that councillors receive for being councillors then I use it to pay my bills. The allowance that members recive is to cover their expenses, I work part time to accomodate my council work, so the allowance compensates me for loss of earnings.
If you are talking about the prize money for winning this competition, then sadly there is none. But if there was I would use it on one of the ideas that I hope I will receive during the competition!
We won’t get any money. The councillor who wins ‘I’m a Councillor, get me out of here’ just gets the glory and also becomes Youth Champion and works with young people a bit mor in the future.
Hi, I’m not sure what you mean when you ask about what I would do with the money because the winner doesn’t get any money. It would be nice if we did win some cash! What would be the first thing that you would do if you won a lot of money?
