on what was available in the summer thought you might be interested.

During the summer period we delivered a total of 226 play sessions across the town with 3580 attendances. Children and young people had the opportunity to engage in general play activities such as role play and board games, creative activities like sand art and jewellery making, physical activities which involved children playing team games and sport related games, and more risky play activities such as building rope swings and tree climbing.

There is not a lot of money about at present for anything new. however, the new West Park play area is good and of course, the park itself, perhaps you could get to West Park from Branksome along the cycle path which links the two? Also, there is some money for the Denes, but perhaps that’s too far from you?

Where would you put a park and what would you want in it?
There is a lot of open space along Cockerbeck and new playbuilders equipment for teenagers and younger children. What sort of park were you thinking of?

I know, what have you done to deserve having a small baby park and nothing else. The park in the middle of Minors crescent is nothing. I would like to see more play areas over that part of town, not just for under 5’s I know someone who will work with me to see if we can improove that for you. I will see if we can set up a group set up to get some lottery funding to get you something.
