Once I pick myself of the floor, I would be extremely proud of being your youth champion. I would make it a mission to come to every school and talk to as many of you I can. I would install a suggestion box in every school so that after I left you could still let me know what young people want. I would then find a way to prioritise these suggestions and ideas from the box and the talks and work my way through them. Some of the priorities I will achieve, by hook or crook. I think I would set myself a goal to make progress on the top three priorities in the first six months. These priorities would have to be chosen by the young people of Darlington, in some sort of vote. I would like to think that is how well I handle being chosen as your Youth Champion. I love a good challenge.
