I don’t really enjoy it at the moment because we are really worried about the future. I enjoy working with colleagues and I enjoy meeting people, but not the whole thing at the present.
I love being a councillor. I get a lot of pleasure helping people and when I can help someone and put a smile on their face. This is the best reason for being a councillor. I also want to make a difference to young peoples lives and I know as a councillor I have a better chance of doing that.
I enjoy my job as acouncillor most of the time, I like meeting people and solving their problems. unfortunately the council is having to make big cuts in the amount of money it spends at the moment and I really don’t like giving people bad news when we can’t do what they want.
Yes I do very much because I would not have been doing it for 14 years if I didnt enjoy it.
It makes such a difference to make a difference.
