The people who control the bus fares are a private company and there are already activities for under 16’s. Can you tell me what you think there is missing.
If you have a teen card your bus fares will be reduced. I would like to get a students card up and running that would give you discounts to places in Darlington. I also approached the Dolphin Centre yesterday to see if they could to a Happy Hour for under 16 where they could do any activity (not lessons) for £1 for that hour. They will let me know when the next have their management meeting.
I would try, but the bus service is run by Arriva (have you a Teen card) and it might be diificult to reduce prices for things at the Dophin centre, but I would try to get som e sort of season ticket or other reduction for under 16s. Also, it would be good to do more with schools in the evening which might be cheaper.
