I believe that we need more community based police both in Darlington and in the surrounding villages. We also need a bigger anti social behaviour team and drugs and alcohol team. We also need more money to be put into our youth service to provide young people with more stimulating things to do. Unfortunately this conservative/libdem government is forcing the council to cut millions from its budget and it looks unlikely that we are going to have enough money for any of these things, but I am prepared to fight them all the way to keep what we have.
