Its a shame that we live in a society nowadays that people get drunk in the park. Its the same old
ever increasing circle…. depending on age the police and pcso’s take the drink off them or arrest them
or take them home.
Adults who are drunk in parks should be picked up by the police – and ideally should be offered help but that is extrmemly difficult to do. Under age drinkers should have their alcohol removed and poured away – the police do have that power. The best thing to do is to use your parks and not let the drunks drive you out. If you go in a group to play football, or rounders (does anyone still play rounders?) – reclaim your space!
