Because it is the older people who pay the council tax and it is their right to ask for services but that does not mean that children are not listened to. Doris Jones is your councillor and I know she fights very hard for all peoples rights there. Perhaps it might be a good idea to talk to her a she is best placed to help you.

i know that it doesn’t seem fair that older people tend to get listened to more than younger people. I feel that young people have some fantastic things to say and they have some brilliant ideas, I think we need to listen more to you all.

I, don’t know. But it is so wrong. I will help you as much as I can to get more things to do. We may need to work together and I hope that we will get the money to make Middleton a much better place for young people.

I don’t know MSG very well, but I think your resentment is common among young people. You have to remember that there areprobably more old people than young people. Different age groups need different things and all have to be fairly treated. Difficult!

Speak to your ward councillors Doris Jones and Steve York, you will find they are on your side and together you may be able to come up with a solution.
