I have had this question before. There was a survey done and there was a majority of that survey saying it was what the younger people wanted. I think that some people mature at different ages what about 14 and 15 year olds? Some say well people have babies under 18 but really how mature is that? Young people need to grow themselves before taking on the cares and responsibilities of adult hood. Live a happy life when you are younger there is plenty of time for being serious later.
I do think you should be able to vote at 16. You are just as likely to take an interest in what’s going on then as adults are (and too many ot them don’t vote!) .

Yes, I think most young people are mature enough to vote by the age of sixteen.

Yes, If at 16 you are old enough to, get married, have sex legally and fight for your country then you should be able to vote at 16.
