The old black and white movies had hover cars by 2012 but I think that won’t happen. My concern with getting a hover car will be going over speed bumps, will I take off? 🙂
I understand that hovercraft are no longer used because they use too much energy, maybe hover cars would have the same problem. However there are Maglev trains.Maglev is short for magnetic levitation, this is where the train hoverso over a magnetic rail exerting force to keep it up and making it go very fast because there is no drag or traction. I think they have them in Japan. (Apologies if you get towoanswers to this, i answered once and the system didn’t seem to send it!)
I wish I knew -I’m sure the technology for this is progressing – I’m sure I saw someone on the gadget show create a hovering board a couple of years ago. I’d love to see hovering cars but I think it will be a long way from now.
