It never occurred to me at all when I left school. It was only when i joined the Labour party when i was married and had two children that I decided to be a candidate.

No, when I left school I didn’t really know what I wanted to be. I was much older when i decided to become a councillor.

No I hated politics when I left school . I thought it was soooo boring. But I know realise that it affects all our lives and I can help many people by being a councillor.
