Being a councillor can be hard, especially if you work full time in another job. It is also hard if someone comes to you for help and you can’t do any more for them. But most things can be very easy and fun.
Can be when you are trying to be serious and interesting and people are bored and turned off. But when you are succesful and manage to change something for the better it makes the job worthwhile.
Sometimes, being a councillor is hard. I have been very worried lately, as we all have, about the budget. It may mean some people lose their jobs and that is a terrible feeling. Some days are a bit too busy, if I have meetings, morning afternoon and evening, it is a bit tiring!
It is sometimes frustrating trying to get things done for my ward residents, however generally it is rewarding to think that I have got something done and completed to make the lives of my ward residents better. I don’t find it hard, more demanding. The hardest thing about being a councillor is juggling a job, looking after my daughter and fitting in meetings and other councillor jobs.
