I would do nothing at the moment as I know that there are better plans for Hurwoth school. If these plans don’t happen then I think you will need a new school not just a PE block.

Hurworth school is in need of total refurbishment, unfortunately the Government has stopped millions of pounds from coming to Darlington. This money was going to be used to refurbish and rebuild some of our secondary schools and Hurworth was one of them. The council is looking at other ways of finding the money but this may only cover the cost of basic maintainance and repair. I wish I could be more optomistic than this but this Government is really squeezing us dry.
