The most interesting question is your question. It has made me think about all the questions I have been asked so far. This one made me think the hardest.
Someone asked me what i would change about youth culture in Darlington. i said i found some young people very intolerant of each other, and that i didn’t like the attitude of some boys to girls and that I thought girls should fight back a bit more when people (men!) are rude to them.
At Hurworth today I was asked what I wanted for the long term future of the Borough. My answer was long and rambling so I won’t bore you but the message was that Darlington should be a place people want to live and work. Did you know that once a young person form Darlington leaves to go to Uni they are more likely to settle elsewhere in the country. I want Darlington to be somewhere that our young people want to come back to, where there are good jobs for the and affordable housing, good schools for their children to attend and plenty of leisure activities.

I think that the most interesting question so far is ” Do you like pie with banana”? My response was that I love pie with anything!
