Being on I’m a Councillor, get me out of here , is just part of what we do as councillors and i think it’s vey important to be as available as possible to everyone – whether schoolchildren and young people, or adult voters, so it doesnt matter at all. However, as you probably know, we do get an allowance , an amount which is decided by a committee of important people in the town, so we are paid.
We do not get paid but we do get an allowance and there is more for
those councillors who have extra responsibilities.

It takes a lot of time and it is difficult when you have a job and a 3 year old. I’m quite happy working online like this.
