Question: what would you do in the summer holidays youth activities

There are activities run by the council during the summer, pop into the town hall or
the dolphin centre to see what these are, maybe some thing for you next year.
There is a lot of activities in the Dolphin centre like rock climbing why dont you
give it a go!

I beleive that what is already on offer is really good – it needs better promotion to ensure you are all aware of what is going on. Make sure the programme is varied and spread across the town – listen to your ideas and suggestions and see how much can be acheived to allow youths to enjoy their holidays without having to spend a fortune.

I would run similar ones to the ones run at the moment but would spread them out into smaller localities. So more would happen in the parks around the town and in Hurworth and MSG. I would also set aside a budget and ask schools to do a canvass to see if anyone could come up with something different. Those ideas then would have to be voted on by you the users, to see which was the most popular and then that budget would fund it.
