I am a member of Health and Well Being scrutiny committee. We are active in scrutinising all levels of health, leisure and well being issues. The committe has looked at many issues, one gained national recognition for the work done on breastfeeding. There have been reviews looking at underage pregnancy and binge drinking. To scrutinise is to look critically, searchingly or in minute detail. Well we look at what is relevant to the people of Darlington and scrutinise!!!
