I’ve done all sorts of things, been a targetat noisy public meetings, chaired important and not so important meetings, been to loads of other meetings, delivered leaflets in all weathers and been the Mayor Darlington which was brilliant.

I have only been a councillor for 23 months but I think my nature to help people has been a great benefit to me. I am getting better at talking and putting my view over in council meetings.
