I’m sorry they think like this. people say this when they don’t agree with what the government is doing and that is fair enough, but if they haven’t bothered to find out what’s going on, then i think that’s not so good. You make up your own mind!

because they may have had a bad experience and feel let down by the people who are supposed to look after us. I felt let down by Darlington Borough Council over schools that were not performing well and the town centre being ripped up and being made to look like loads of other boring town centres, thats why I stood for election so hopefully we can take Darlington in a better direction. So the message is if you don’t like something then try and do something about it.

I think they believe we are a waste of space because we have not listened to what they want. And if we can not give them what they want we have not explained it to them. For many years Government and Councils do what they think is best, not what the people want. I believe we should listen and do our best to give the people some of what they want. I want to give young people in Darlington more of what they want. I will not get everything but I will get something by trying.

Everything we say and do tends to be political. Like peoples jobs and what they do with their leisure time. If people dont care about these things and dont vote then how can they have a say when there is something to talk about. Having a voice is the same as having a vote because if your job is on the line then you know you have tried really hard to make sure that it is not lost. Being apathetic and saying that the people who use their time to fight for what is right are a waste of space is not true, do you agree?
