Motor bike sports are so expensive and therefore not a lot of young people can afford to join in this kind of sport. The council tries to make entertainment available for the many not just the few so that at least the majority of young people have a provision.
Perhaps more private companies should be getting involved like croft racing circuit?

A lot of places get shut down because it’s very expensive to get insurance to run an off road track. There are some tracks in the area but I know that you have to pay to use them and you need a trailer to get your bike there. I had a bike when I was younger and the only place I could use it was a small private field at the bottom of my street…I soon got bored. Sorry I couldn’t have been more help.

What we need to do is get a big field with a track around it for you to spend all your days out there. To be of the best value for money we would have to open it out to other people like mountain bikers etc.

I’m really sorry to say this – and please don’t take it as a criticism, but i think it would be better if you got a motorbike when you are old enough to ride it on the road and then got proper training to ride safely. competitive or off road sports could then follow when your technique was brilliant!

Hey Robbo96 off road motorbikes are legal, yes I agree but it is where you are legally allowed to ride it
where the problem is. You must find somewhere safe and legal really.

i ride in a leagal place (either sedgefeild or i dunno the name of the other one) but theres only to leagal places and we need more coz evaeryone just rides on feilds illegally anyway so it is far better to have more leagal tracks.
